My block is stamped 7668 and the crank is 4554. That gives me a t3,t1,t1,t4 front to back according to the fsm. I'm not sure how that translates to ordering from Toyota. Mark1 no.3, Mark2 no.1, etc...?

I wound read it like this
7668 + 4554 = 11 / 11/ 11/ 12 = 1 1 1 2

Red,

Can you snap a small screen shot of the FSM that gives to the other path your thinkin

My front bearing followed this as it has a T3 mark on it. #2&#3 didn't have legible marks on them. #4 is still in the truck.

I think you are the winner of this mystery.

My machinest said he found the number 3553 on my crank and my block was7767 but since when I did the normal add process, I would get a 9 for number 3 and 0 for number 4, then I was stuck.

My 2F is a very late engine and it actually has the 3f carb head, so your picture makes perfect sense.

So blocks can be 6--9 and cranks from 3--5, so both our setups fit into this window.

Your picture also says there are 5 different standard size bearings and that is the same as the screen shot from Toyota parts page in the first page of the posts.

So T1==M1, T2==Mark2

Remember that that Mark numbers are related to bearing thickness, thus this is where the T comes from.

So for my condition of block 7767 and crank 3553

Journal 1 closet to the pulley = T4 = Mark4
Journal 2 = T2= Mark 2
Journal 3 = T1 = Mark 1
Journal 4 = T4 = Mark 4

Does this make sense now? for me you were the missing link.

Can you send me a picture of the front page of the FSM your using?

Thanks and great help.

I just found the link to the FSM from the Troll

You are welcome. All i needed was to make the connection to the five sizes and the five marks. It was getting late... Now I can order parts and get my girl back on the road.
