I didn't have time to do oil change so went to Jiffy Lube. The tech said that my 700 amp rated battery showed an output of slightly more than 400 amps. His thoughts were that I should replace it sooner than later. I can't remember ever having a battery tested before it was "dead", so am not familiar with how actual outputs compare to rated outputs. Should I replace this battery?

In Arizona. It happens. Heat cycling kills batteries.

In San Fran I could get 5 years out of a battery. Out here 2 years is the cycle.

I use interstate batteries to buy mine.
They are really good on free replacement if the battery has a problem before the warranty is up. And most the time the battery warranty outlasts the batteries.
