Has anyone called about this FZJ80? Or looked at it? I called the guy on Fri and left a message and he called back Sat afternoon but I haven't called him back yet. I'm going to call him today and I plan on stopping by and looking at it on my way back to Beaufort.

The guy actual called me this morning and still had the FZJ80. I told him that I would be there around 1400 and he said that someone else was coming to look at it too. When I called him at 1400 to let him that I was a few minutes away, he said that he had just sold it. The guy didn't know anything about cruisers but said that he's had a lot of people come look at it. After we first talked this morning it sounded like it was going to be well worth $2200 and I was ready to buy without even looking at it. I guess I should have called him sooner then Fri.

Darn! I was hoping you'd gotten it!
I was too.. I have a 88 4Runner that I picked up back in Sept to drive. I actual just got it running, had to change the head gasket/timing chain. I wish I would have called about the FZJ80 sooner, like I said earlier I would have bought it for sure. I hope to get my 91 4Runner running this spring.
I'm thinking the price is going to drop again like it did the last time gas jumped.

That was the only reason I didn't call the guy when he first posted it. I had a 91 FJ80 and it got less then 14 mpg on 31" AT tires, I know the FZJ80 has a better engine and gets a little better MPG. I've put so much work in the little 22re in the 88 4Runner and I wasn't sure I needed the room of a 80. Someone got a good deal is for sure and I'm going to keep a lookout for any other deals on 60, 62, or 80's. I'm selling my F250 to my little brother in a couple weeks and I need something that can pull a 5x10 trailer with a ATV and dirt bike, with enough room for my gear. The 4runner will be pushing it for room.
