cracked OEM wheel lug nut

My lift project is off to a swimming start...cracked my wheel lock lug nut and stripped my key, and then damn near took my eye out with the tire iron and bled all over my driveway. What is the quickest way to remedy this?

You can try hammering on a socket on it. Maybe easier to stop by Discount Tire or the dealer and get all of them removed

I just hammer a 12 point socket on them. Do it all the time at the junkyard.

Thanks that’s what I did. Discount Tire came through

Good reason not to overtighten the locking nuts.

I’ve gotten them off with a welder and a plain nut.
