My wife's 100 Series (2000 model) has a chime/alarm under the dash that won't stop whenever the engine is running or the key is on. I went through the FAQ section and it only seems to take me to this link:

My question is...has anyone found a fix for this rather than replacing the whole junction block at the dealer?

I had a similar problem but mine was just affecting the power mirror operation as mentioned in the TSB. Never had the chime or alarm I found some discussion on a Lexusownersclub forum that said to try removing the J/B and blowing with compressed air. I did this today and also sprayed WD40 specialist electrical contact cleaner on each connector on the board and each plug on the wire harnesses. I also removed each fuse a blew compressed air in the slots. I didn't see any obvious problems or excessive debris. Reassembled and problem was gone. Mirrors work perfectly now. Glad it's fixed but removing the J/B is a MAJOR PITA!
