A little incident with a tree at the FG pulled my cowl forward and I need
to get it straightened out. Any suggestions on how to pull it back?

how rusty are your door sills? Last time I welded new sills/plates in a truck it pulled the cowl back and I had to cut, spread and reweld to get the doors to fit. What exactly is misaligned?

Off camber with a tree inside the cab, backed up and the cowl bent forward. My hood is sitting about an inch beyond the bib. Where the windshield hinge is located it is forward about 1 1/4".
I took an old hinge and made a attachment point then chained a come-along back to the frame.
Pulled it back. Took a dead-blow hammer and pounded the bottom of the cowl (near the kick vent)
back out. I'm going to let it set under tension and go back later and hammer some more.

now i know why i could never get my hood to line up and why it seems like my windshield frame is further forward one side of the truck.. and why the door doesn't line up as well on that side....

i never thought the cowl could be out of alignment... i just bent the hood hinges!
