FYI, I was able to get a OEM dash from a Lexus dealer for $615 plus tax. Many dealers have them at over $800; this one is out-of-town but I'll be picking it up on a unrelated trip to their neck of their woods. A Coverlay from Rock Auto is around $450 shipped with tax, so it's really not a huge difference in cost.

Do you have the part number and where did you order it? I have the mark levinsin center speaker (i understand there are differnt part no with and without ML). Thanka
I ordered from Lexus of Mobile, AL. Obviously that might not be an option for you in San Diego. Bell Lexus in Scottsdale, AZ often has them for even cheaper, such as around $330 a few years ago. However, getting one shipped is hard (I called Bell Lexus when they were on sale and they said no - local pickup only - too many had been damaged when they tired to ship them) so you probably need to pick it up in-person. I was already headed to the Mobile area anyway so it made sense to haul one home. I called Lexus of Mobile over the phone and provided my VIN, they verified the part number (5540160926E0 - 2007, sandalwood, with ML speakers).
You might also have a more local dealer selling these below the ~$850 MSRP. My local dealers did not respond to requests to price-match Lexus of Mobile. If not, perhaps make an excuse to take a trip to Scottsdale
