i am rebuilding my h55f and have it all torn apart to find out that the countershaft is wrecked on the bearing surfaces to badly to use..

i am looking for either a good used one or new one. if its used it must not have any chipped teeth and all of the surfaces that the roller bearings ride on must be in excellent shape.. i am not interested in anything less or i will suck it up and buy a new one.. . a new one is 600 bucks and 2 months away coming from japan and i dont feel like waiting that long if i dont have to..

the h55f 5peed tranny is from a 1983 bj60

If you have the part number for the shaft you are looking, pm it to me and i will see if i can get them quicker and cheaper. Are you looking for input or output shaft?
 
damn.. i just bought one yesterday from ens toyota here in town for 565 plus tax.... its on the slowboat from japan now.. thanks for the offer though.. do you work through a dealership??

the part number is: 33421-36040 gear, counter
 
i guess i didnt just buy one.. this part is officially discontinued from toyota.. confirmed by both ens toyota here in Saskatoon and 4wheelauto in Edmonton..

does anyone have any leads on this countershaft?? or does anyone have a core tranny with a good used countershaft in it? new or used doesnt bother me as long as it is in good shape with no cracked or broken teeth with all bearing surfaces good..

or does anyone have any leads on anything aftermarket?? i did a search and could find anything but that doesnt mean much.. sometimes my "google-foo" is weak..
