I scored this RH mirror at the Toyota dealer. It was collecting dust without a part #'s or any markings on the box. It had a dealer label saying it fit 80 - 87 FJ60's
It obviously looks like a 62 mirror.
I want a matching LH side mirror
The dealer didn't have a LH mirror, and said FJ60 and Fj62 mirrors were discontinued and can't get me a LH side one.
I checked various Land Cruiser supplier websites, and the only genuine Toyota mirrors that looked like this were electric.
Saw lots of reproduction aftermarket ones that look identical.
Did Toyota ever sell any non-electric mirrors like this?, or am I just going to have to settle for a repro?

I need to rephrase the last obviously stupid question.
Obviously Toyota made the mirrors!!
But were OEM Toyota non electric mirrors ever sold in the US or anyone know of a supplier?

Thanks

Toyota *definitely* sold the non-electric mirrors in the US because they were stock on FJ62s without the electric package (door locks, windows, mirrors).

I didn't know they were discontinued, that's a big bummer.

If your RH mirror is charcoal color and non-electric, it's same with mine.
here's P/N
RH : 87910-90A17
LH : 87940-90A07

Could you please tell me about price of your RH mirror ?

Oh, Min Seok

Thank you for the part numbers. I will see what the dealer can do with those part numbers.
Since the dealer didn't have a part number they didn't know what to charge me, so they let me have it for $40. I know the next one won't be as cheap.

Thank you,
Because my RH mirror was broken, I was searching same mirror but I can't find.
If possible, I hope can buy RH mirror which you have.
Could you please ask to dealer whether they have remain stock or not ?

Oh, Min Seok

Schaats, I went to the dealer today and asked if they had any more mirrors in stock, They didn't. So, sorry I can't help you out.

I also asked to look at their other unmarked boxes. Nothing Land Cruiser though.

I got a different and better parts counter guy this time. They can still order mirrors. But they want $173 !! Too much for me. Looks like my drivers side gets a Tiawan or CCOT mirror.

spelling, clarity

Go on, FL, sell Schaatzy your right mirror & buy a pair of cheapos!

By the way, the Taiwanese aren't worth $20 a pair. I put new glass in mine because the original made me feel drunk when backing up. I would have charged a customer about $120 to do the pair as we had to grind the stock 62 blanks to fit the cheapass heads. And they still vibrate!
