Im trying to find an estimated cost on a few mods for a 3rd gen 4runner/tacoma

2.5 lift
front bumper/winch
31' tires

basically a mild expo rig, i plan to take to south/central america on the panam highway

im trying to determine whether to purchase pre-built up rig or just get something stock and build it up myself

Well, I'd suggest you buy it and built it yourself. That way you know what's on it, you know it's done right, and you know it hasn't been too abused yet.

An Old Man Emu (OME) lift goes for about $1000 I believe. ARB front bumpers also go for $1000. I'm not too sure of the price on the winch. I'd check out Warn for quality and precision.

i am in northern california, san francisco to be exact

any idea on installation costs? or could i install this stuff myself? im pretty handy with a jack and jackstands but dont own a welder or anything along those lines

I just bought a Sonoran Steel 1.2A & had them assemble the front struts. $1430 delivered. Also BFG All Terrain 285/75/16. We sell tires at my work.My dead cost on those was $810,Would likely sell for about $950 retail installed. I too would suggest buying a stock truck then doing yourself,that way you know for sure what you have.

It'll probably cost you like $450 to have it put on, depending on where you go of course.
