I’ve been waiting for the Bilstein 6112/5160 shock and spring suspension to become available. Had a shop quote me parts and install and was surprised it came back at just over 2k. Way more than I thought it would be. My sons have done their F150 and 4Runner with the same and parts and install was around 1k.
Shop said the 6112/5160 + springs are 1500.00 labor 500- .
Any suggestions on where to buy the Bilstein 6112/5160 setup at a better price?
Thank you much,

ajusa.com is the best price I could find when I ordered a few weeks ago. $1360 for parts. Any labor will be on top of that.

You can see more discussion of prices here:

More specifically, here's a post that summarizes how the prices have increased dramatically over the past 6 or 9 months.

Over the past couple of months , 2 increases by Bilstein ...

- Front struts jumped from $615 > $732 > $806
- Rear shocks, each jumped from $161 > $208 > $276
- Rear coils jumped from $188 > $218

I don't understand why Bilstein would start pushing these prices so high .. Kinda disappointing that a new product on the market would be pushed high so fast. One of the vendors I called said that Bilstein wouldn't ship them the products unless they charge the new prices.

Are you sure that on the F150 and 4Runner you aren't comparing to the 5100 Series Shocks? They're very popular for those platforms, but not nearly as heavy duty as the 6112s. To my knowledge there isn't a 5100 for the Land Cruiser Platform. I could see a simple 5100 series lift being about $1000 installed if the rear lift is just a block or spacer (or if you just did the front to "level" the truck)

In total for everything we paid 1082.

Front and rear shocks + front and rear springs.

Good job tracking down a crazy good deal! You must have gotten the parts for around $500 plus another $500 or so for labor. Where were you able to find all the parts front + back combined for that cheap? Must have been a listing price typo or something?

No, those were for all the parts. Labor was free since I installed them myself

Ah gotcha. Yeah, I'm installing mine myself, too, once all my parts get in.
