Correct carb kit for '73 40?

Anyone know which of the two available carb rebuild kits will fit my '73 FJ40? It's manufacture date was 3/73, however the small ID plate on the carb is gone. What about GP Sorensen kits...are they junk or decent? I ordered both kits at Autozone and will bring carb in to try to get a match. I wonder what the difference is between the two? Previously, I tried a Keyster kit and it seems like the accelerator pump isn't sealing and pushing fuel to the throat. So, I'm trying something else.

Most kits fit any '70-'74 carb. I would contact JimC(FJ40jim), Mark Algazy or Kurt at cruiseroutfitters.com. I've had good luck with Keyster kits.

Like Ed says, most F carb kits will work with most years, 70-74.

To be safe, buy the later model kit for 73-74 carbs (carb #s 60204, 60205) as it will have the extra washers for fuel return fitting and extra O-rings for either glass or plastic sight glass.
