Last year I signed up to do a three week trip down to the Copper Canyon in Mexico. However a new 4Runner purchased since has put a real squeeze on my budget. So looking for a travel partner to share the costs of fuel, tolls and other expenses. The trip dates are about April 25 to May 10, 2015. Most nights are boondock camping but some will be in regular campgrounds. Meals will vary from dogs over the campfire to nice restaurants. I will be sleeping in my 4R so you would need to carry a small tent, sleeping bag, etc. Our trip leader is a retired 4x4 guide who has done some 40 trips to the Copper Canyon and really knows the area. The CC is the biggest canyon in North America, some 1700' deeper and larger than the Grand Canyon with far fewer tourists. This trip will be an amazing opportunity for the right person.
