Not sure if my search-foo is weak, or this is a challenging item to find, but anyone have a PN for a replacement coolant temp sensor connector for a '93-'94 1FZFE?

Everything I am finding online is 2 wire, OEM is 1.

Do you have the broken connector still? If so there's a 5 digit number on there...not exactly sure where. But it is there. Probably very small. There's a standard 5 digit number Toyota uses in front of that, but you should be able to just Google the number you see and the name of the connector.

There is a thread started be Beno with connector part numbers. Lots and lots of 'em.
Dont recall the title, but its here somewhere.

I looked for a PN on the connector w/o any luck. I'll check again, tks.

It's a very small connector...I'm fairly certain that every connector made has a number. But could be wrong. Hopefully someone can chime in that knows...

Tks folks, between the two of you I found exactly what I needed. Turns out its PN 90980-11428.

This thread helped: 1995-1997 1FZ-FE FZJ80 OBD2 Main Engine Wiring Harness Connector Information

And I was able to find the final 5 digits on the connector itself.

Key takeaway for folks in this situation: connector PN's start with 90980 and the last 5 digits are usually molded into the connector itself.

Keep in mind if you order from Toyota all you will get is the connector housing...not the pigtails. You'll need to reuse your old ones....or if you look on eBay there are tons of aftermarket suppliers of connectors that have the pigtails.

Can you please tell me where this connector (green) is located? I have a check engine code and need to replace it. Thanks

These are above the oil filter. But will be somewhat hard to access. Might help yo remove the alternator.

Right where the head meets the block above the oil filter. I was able to pull the plug (and the next 1 or 2 in the loom to give some play in the harness) and fix it in-situ without pulling anything else out of the truck.
