Coolant Question - Red vs Green

When talking to a tech at my local "award winning" toyota dealer, he told me they just do a radiator drain & fill. One trick (he claims) is to run the engine (w/ cap off, of course) until the thermostat opens, then shut off the engine and drain the radiator. This is suppose to allow more coolant to drain out than the basic 6 qts from the radiator. Last time I did a full flush, it was 4 qts for each V bank, 6 qts for the radiator, then 1 qt for each of the two heater cores. I did the DS V bank and radiator (drained 10-11 qts). The PS V-bank drain bolt has a ATF hard line that goes right over it (at least for the 5spd tranny), so didn't bother doing that side, but I drained & filled 3x w/ distilled water until it ran clear, then used the long-life 30K mi coolant since it was the 60K mi service. Since you have a '06, you should not have to change coolant until around 90K mi. I plan to use SLLC at 90K mi.

I'm not sure what the real differene chemically between the SLLC and LLC is. Anyone here know? SLLC isn't just LLC w/ 50% distilled water, is it?
