Hammond got a bum 40! prolly shouldnt have lifted it...

Great series of episodes and I enjoyed them up until he let the 40 go tumbling down the dune so close to the finish. I just about blew a gasket when I saw that, I think he was just to chicken to drive it down the dune. he had the Metaltech cage to save him.

Better put an air cleaner on it or at least a piece of panty hose over the carb. We did that one time to see if it would run faster (Ha). We had a cart almost identical to that. The fastest go cart in the neighborhood! We could outrun all of the 5hp carts in the hood. The little 3.5hp Tecumseh was a bad little motor!

the boy geniuses didn't retighten the airhousing after we took it off to check the carb. it blew off on the highway somewhere while trailering it home.
