OK back to reality:)

I decided that maybe I should run for the dumb@$$ of the year award...in that why was I having these issues with the Marks kit and others were apparently not. So I assumed that we either had done something wrong or something was just not right in my setup and I was tired of screwing with it and spending more $$ on it.

So it was last call before making a decision to change course on my driveline.

Decided to take to the ACC shop because I learned that they have done a few of these and so I thought that someone needs to check this out, who has done a few swaps.

Hauled the 60 over to the guys at ACC about two weeks ago...where I related my sad tale of issues....before I made it home they called me on my cell phone and said I was missing some parts and that I need to check out the isntructions on page 3 of 11... Turns out we did not install the shims on the clutch fork which was causing problems ....and that compounded the adjustment of the throwoutbearing and so it was mission impossible for the cluthc assembly/throwout bearing / cluthc fork / slave to function properly...etc

So the they guys at ACC got the parts from AA and installed them, made the right adjustments, installed new slave (I had previously bought) and it looks like I'm in business now. No clutch slipping and cleaner shifts..

It would have been nice if AA had provided the comprehensive instuctions with their kit to me back 2 yeara or so when we installed the thing. So maybe I can't claim the above mentioned award...but its a combination of wondering how it made it this far and wondering why the instructions were not provided previously. I will say that AA provided the necessary parts at no charge and I had to cover shipping.

Hats off to ACC for getting me fixed up....

So unless something else bites me in the @$$ I should be good with what I have now... 5.7 Vortec + Marks adapter + H55F, +split case TC.
