Gonna be shipping my new 40 soon and have had a bunch of emails from people looking for engines etc.

Anyone else have interest for other items? I can do a 20ft container and hopefully people are willing to share some of the expenses. I'm happy to stuff it full of 5 speeds and diesel engines.

The container would be loaded at a landcruiser junkyard so now or never for parts.

let me know who is interested in stuff.

Otherwise I'm just gonna ship the regular way with no container.

Have you put this out to Wally in southern VT. He might be short on cash, but seems like a solid way to source some aussie parts.

I am interested in a H41 tranny for the 40 series....

Just to be clear for anyone interested....you'll need to pay for all your own parts up front. No exceptions. Once I get a final list I'll work it out with the parts guy in AU.

I assume everyone was thinking this anyway but just want to clarify up front

Yes, paying up front is clear to me. Can you clarify...do you expect to negotiate the price for our items, or shall we be doing this directly with the junkyard?

That statement wasn't directed at you or anyone in particular BTW. Hope you didn't read it that way.

I can be the middleman for prices. email exactly what you want and I'll get the price.

The AU dollar is $.65 to the US dollar so everything is 1/3 off!!!

Anyone who wants to buy a troopy from AU...now is the time!!!! exchange rates are ridiculously low and if this shipping cube works out it will be very cheap shipping. Can easily fit a troopy in with all this.

Someone could easily buy a troopy and have it shipped to Boston for under $5K total.

Will get prices as requested

ALSO, anyone have access to a loading dock that we could unload 2 trucks and a bunch of random cruiser junk in the Boston area???

I'd be interested in a 5 speed for a 40 depending on price.....:grinpimp:

you could unload tucks out of a container onto a rollback if a dock is not available

Yes but last time I did that it was an extra $250 to a greedy tow truck driver.

Where is the container going to be leaving from,as I have some parts and 1engine and would buy more parts if the container is out of Melbourne?. I have my own connection and if it would be ok he would load my stuff?. Let me know and I would chip in for the 20 footer.

Thanks
James

I have everything being loaded in Adelaide and will probably ship direct from there. Can you get stuff to adelaide?

Any guess as to what a 45 LWB bed would cost me?

Even down there I bet they'd cost a lot. I'll check. They're rare down there too.

I would really like to get a set of soft top bows and a used top if available.

Do you have room for one of these:

I'll take one in Merlot Red, thanks.

I'd love to see it crushed at the port!!!!

if my fj62 sells before ou lod i could be interested in a cable lockered 3rd and a complete rearcable lockered axle from a 60 or 40 series. could i get a price check on those?

should have prices back by Weds for everything posted plus all pm's and emails.

checking the cost of the container tomorrow to see if it's even worth doing a 40 footer.

John,

Do you have contact there that could get me a clutch kit from exedy? for a 3B / H55 combo. Overthere they are cheap but shipping them here in Canada is a killer. I am not in a hurry if you have it before spring.

If getting the kit into the container is to much trouble, not sweat.

Clutch kit; TYK-6296

They are impossible to find here...

Let me know ETA in USA. If you cannot get it i could probably buy it and have it ship to where the container is in AU.

EDIT: Hola, i just checked SOR and the price is real low now. So i may just order there. So forget about my request for now.
