Good afternoon Cruiser peeps.
Headed to the Beaufort area next week and I am trying get in some fishing, free diving and spearfishing, etc. I wanted to know if anyone had any good contacts for these activities. I am currently boat less. Working on that one. Looking for the local person that knows the spots and has extra room. I can bring cash and provisions. I have my saltwater license, fishing rods and free dive gear. I would give myself advance beginner status. Been free diving before but still have lots to learn. I was hoping there were local spots that were 30 to 40 ft so I could get in some practice. Shoot them or catch, either way, would be great. I get up early and will be ready to go.
Or if you know someone I should contact. I just want to get out there.
Another thing would be a boat to rent. Just riding around Taylor's creek, going to the back side of Carrot island, a little in shore fishing and maybe shack at 11 am on the 4th (just kidding, no boating on the 4th, to many new captiains out there)
