There's a truck in that picture ?

She must have a great ass because neither of you noticed that it's a Tundra. :-)

I guess that joke could play on many levels. :-)

Just wanted to say thanks to Onur for the many years he has provided support, knowledge and parts. There are probably only a few individuals in the country that can translate what we want into a parts order and get it right the first time. Onur is one of them (CDan the other). Onur has practical experience working on our trucks so he can consult and offer advice on how to fix or rebuild something while making sure you get the right parts to do it. Nothing is too big or too small.

For the most part, dealership parts departments don't want to be bothered with us and just plain suck! In the past, I have been told by Toyota parts managers to just go to a hardware store and get the nuts/bolts I need and my favorite after specifically ordering a GRAY vinyl fender flare pad "the black gaskets will turn gray-ish after years of being outside, so I assumed you wanted black.”

Good stuff. Chicks and Trucks: absolutely the antithesis of 99% of Land Cruiser events....

I'm no so sure about that.

Here's an adage de-Dan: If you need scantily clad chicks to help you sell truck parts, then your truck, or the parts you sell likely suck.

Notice the ranch hand bumper on the Tundra above: I rest my case. ;)

Goodies for the 77 Series...... :) Thanks, Onur

You know, it is really awesome having so many great friends that I have met through the LC world.

@spressomon amd @alvarorb were both in town serendipitously this past week and I was happy to host my old west coast friends for a great sushi dinner with my good east coast friends @BMThiker @Sam Stewart @DanKunz .

The Land Cruiser community really allows such a breadth and depth of friendship. I've been wheeling/camping with Dan and Alvaro since the mid-Aughts. My East Coast friends have developed since my time moving back to the East Coast in 2013 after being out west since 2007.

Spresso and I were talking about how awesome it is that no matter where we go in the US, and even abroad, we have Land Cruiser friends that we can interact with, break bread with, and make kinfolk.

Really just super cool. Very rarely does this kind of thing come around.

I'm very grateful.

Hey folks:

I will be in the office through Friday of this week.

I will be in and out of the office working with clients Monday-Weds, November 16-17th.

Remainder of next week I will be in the office and then leave on Sunday November 22 for an extended business trip for a number of clients out West.

I anticipate being back in the office the first week of December.

As always, email is the best way to get in touch with me for parts support.

Thank you!
Onur

Good thing I got my weekly fix in early. Thanks for replying to my emails over the weekend, I really didn't expect it.

To anyone concerned about doing business with someone via email only, Onur will exceed your expectations.

as you can see Beno had me drinking like a gas land cruiser...

Thank you for the Atl hospitality it sure made it a better trip! Awesome getting real Turkish food and talking cruisers and where life takes us.

Folks:

I had a quick client trip come up at the last minute.

I will be traveling for the next two days.

I will have phone access and Internet most of the time but won't be able to do any quotes or part orders till Sunday when I am back in the office.

Thanks for your understanding.
Onur

Thanks to Onur for helping me find a 2005 LX470. I had been looking for a 100 series after a wreck with my 80 series. I ended up finding a LX in Marietta, GA. I called Onur and he said he would be able to inspect the vehicle for me. The very next day he met with the sales rep and did a full examination of the LX. He sent alot of photos, took a video showing the areas that needed some TLC. He then sat with the sales rep, manager, and mechanic and discussed what the vehicle needed as well as gave them the part numbers, suprise there, haha. The sales team was impressed and intimidated, haha. Helped with the sale. They fixed all the concerning issues without a problem. Negiotiation was much easier after they met Onur. They kept asking, so what does this guy do, and man you guys must really like these cars. The vehicle was then delivered by the car dealer to my location 4 hrs away in Southwest GA.

If you are interested in a vehicle and need it inspected, Onur is an awesome resource. I felt much more comfortable in a distant purchase after having him inspect it and did not feel as worried. My wife also felt at ease with the purchase after getting Onur's help, a feat unto itself. Having the help of a well trusted, knowledgable, and all around good guy made this purchase so much more enjoyable. I received the vehicle last night. It is in great shape for a 2005 LX with 125K miles.

Again thanks so much Onur. I really appreciate it. Hopefully sometime can meet and catch up.

This is priceless.

I can't think of anyone better than Onur to do things like this. Being able to quickly find all of the issues with a vehicle, ESPECIALLY from a dealer can only help with the negotiations. Love it!
