Hi All,
New to the forum. I couldn't find any info regarding what I want to do so hopefully someone can answer my noob question.

I am having a dual battery kit installed for my 2017 which will include a Redarc charger, USB ports, 12V outlets, ground power, solar power, etc so I know I can power anything I hookup to those new outlets without the engine being on. But I also want to power the factory outlets and electronics (2nd passenger entertainment system) from the battery so I'm not always having to push the start button, killing the starter battery, and the power to them only lasting only 10 min until it automatically shuts off. Is there a way to rewire this so everything can run off the dual battery system?

Thanks in advance!

If those items were fused separately it would be relatively easy but I don't know if they are?

You could always wire in your own inverter with its own switch. That’s basically what I do in my truck. I do have a few battery chargers plugged into the stock outlet… But for those I only want them to charge when the truck is running. For many other items, I have installed constant on USB outlets, 12 V outlets, and can also switch on A 1500 W sine wave Inverter that is completely independent of the start button.

Remember, too, that the stock inverter is extremely limited in what it can adequately power. A quality, inexpensive inverter can be added that multiplies outlet power big time… And as long as you have a switch, Your dual batteries should be able to handle it easily.
