I am wondering if anyone has tapped into an unused fuse location? I noticed that there are several unused fuse locations that appear to be wired but with no fuse. I have not done thing more than a cursory look at the fuse box and the locations. For instance, there is a 50A fuse location for AHC but being my rig is an LC it is unused. However, I am not sure if there is a wire harness connection there that leads to a stub that could potentially be used.
I ask because I may be wiring a Victron DC-DC for charging a power bank (in this case it emulates a solar panel). Rather, than adding a fuse or circuit breaker directly to the battery it would be quite clean to tap into an existing fuse location. The question becomes which one?
So before I disconnect the battery and pull the fuse box to take a look I thought I would ask here first.
