My new to me used bike came with Garmin Ant speed and cadence sensor. https://www.clevertraining.com/garm...and-edge?acc=1679091c5a880faf6fb5e6087eb1b2dc

I downloaded the IPBike + IP SensorMan apps from the Play store but still can't connect to the sensors. What am I doing wrong? Do I need another gadget that plugs in the USB-C port of my phone that talks to the sensors?

I tried searching for the sensors but the IP SensorMan app didn't find it. The installed 3V battery is showing 3V on the multimeter. I see a RESET button on the sensor but wasn't sure if that erases the wheel size parameters.

I'm going to download the Urbanbike app and see how well that works with the sensors:

What Android phone do you have? The following phones have built-in ANT+ hardware.

Directory - THIS IS ANT

If your phone isn't on the list you will need a dongle.

My phone is listed but not sure how to connect to the sensors using the built in Samsung Health app or the 3rd party apps that I downloaded. How do you tell the sensors to go into pairing mode? Are they BT or some other wireless tech? My phone finds a device ID but can't connect to it. Until it connects to this device, I won't get the actual descriptive name from the device ID.

So many questions.....
