On my 2024 First Edition the one year of free Toyota Connected Services just expired. I am not too keen on renewing it for $15 per month, but the bigger issues are:
1. Every time I start the car, the infotainment screen comes up with the "Experience Drive Connect" screen. I can get out of it if I press one of the icons on the left side of the screen (such as Car Play, etc.)
2. When I do not go out of the Experience Drive Connect screen, or I press the "Toyota" icon on the Car Play screen, it gives me two options. a) A Search icon and b) "Get Started." When I press the "Get Started" button, the screen goes blank and the only way to get the screen to come back is to turn off the vehicle. Very annoying.
Does anyone have this same issue? I really do not want to pay $15 a month just to make the "Experience Drive Connect" screen off but it is almost annoying enough to do it.
