I’m heading to my Crater Lake Property this upcoming weekend to start my 10x10 bathroom/ pumphouse. Daily temps are forecasted in low 60s to upper 50s but lows are forecasted low 20s. I’m thinking of setting my 12x12 dining canopy over the concrete slab and put plastic on the walls. Use propane dual element heater to keep the area warm overnight. The dining canopy does have a vent at the top to allow air flow.
Im looking for tips from concrete contractors or those with knowledge dealing with green concrete and below freezing temperatures. Looks like the slab should be protected from freezing for at least 48 hours.

Just buy or borrow a concrete blanket. They are used all winter here.

Set up the form boards and started installing the underground utilities. Wirsbo waterline Service feed and conduit for power.

Poured the concrete. Temps were in the 40s

ABS is for toilet, shower drain and sink/ air vent line.

Temps got into the low 20s but the concrete set nicely. Threw black plastic sheeting over the pad before dark and a tarp to help add some protection.
