The comment period for the alternatives is set to close on March 28.

The Park Service has stated flat out that they will not accept letters from organizations. EVERYONE HAS TO WRITE THEIR OWN LETTER.
THIS IS IMPORTANT!!!!!
The management plan as they have presented it has 30 separate elements, and five different alternatives for each element. YOU ARE FREE to pick and choose among the alternatives for each element, OR MAKE UP YOUR OWN. IF you don't feel qualified to comment on a specific element, skip it. But PLEASE say something about the things you know and care about.

It will be revised before the deadline, but I was asked by several groups to put something up on the internet that people could work from. Bear with me, it's very long. It might help if you just look at the Park Service Comparison Table first to get a snapshot of what's going on.
