About all i know is that they have a good VA hospital there.

My better half is also looking at a job at the IRS there.

Yeah Salisbury does have a good VA hospital.
Not sure what you want to do but you aren't too far from mooresville and all the race shops and museums. You are also close to charlotte, 30 mins or so. It would be good to have another cruiser head close by. If you want to grab a beer closer to charlotte I might be able to meet you... I normally get off work at 6 but have to go straight home and shower all the crud off.

Sorry bout that. GSO was Greensboro/high point; About an hour north of you. Charlotte is a little closer to you.

Uwharrie Nat'l Forest is the wheeling spot i spoke of. Its on the other side of lake badin from Salisbury to your east of hwy 109. (their site is down at teh moment)

its probably an hour from salisbury or less and has something for everyone from mild to wild (well not a lot of wild) either truck would be fine, campgrounds, shooting range, lake, horses.

Im busy tuesday but wednesday is unscheduled so far.... i could do lunch in lexington ( BBQ baby ) monday and maybe wednesday
