Yes I'm "alive". :p I know my other flickr acct is down, I gotta see about fixing that.
You guys can always peek here to see what else is up.

Too bad that life and this (attached pic) have kept me busy. My lower back, neck, hip, and shoulder got "worked". It hurts to ride, let alone drive and/or try to wheel. It'll be a little bit until I'm better. What you can't see is the frame got damaged, guy hit me at an estimated 45mph, threw the big old wagon 1' off the ground. Lame. AAA totaled the thing out without hesitation. :frown:

We should attend the Christmas thing, I gotta see if I can get the 4th off.

I took part of this weeks payroll and dedicated it to finally getting some factory alloys and ordering up my BFG TA/KO 33's to throw on Wimpy.

Although not entirely a physical cure, the mental image of the 4Runner getting a little closer to where i want it to be helped.

*I didn't mention that the Runner has a new windshield..stupid gravel rig on 880.

'95 4Runner 2wd/Auto-4wdR150 Work in Progress versus '94 2wd Auto all original.

It's been a weird 2 months man. I need a trip soon, if nothing more than a beach-camping deal to get all this out of my system.

Missing out on meetings, get togethers, S-N-T, and now realizing the little one's B-Day is on the T4T day means i need to reprioritize how we schedule things next year.

Maybe I'll make that a "New Year's Resolution".

:) Off to make a new thread. :D

it's good to hear from you again, man, and Wimpy's looking fine.

Quick question:
do you have a build thread of Wimpy's conversion to 4X4? I'm curious what all was involved in the swap.

I had a build thread in the 79-95 Forum, but in light of some idiots out here repeatedly trying to steal rigs I'd asked for it to be pulled. There was a delay so I ended up just editing all the posts up..stupidly quick and wasting all the hard work in the writeups. Pretty stupid of me looking back at all that. Then what I did have saved got lost when flickr went haywire for a little bit.

FWIW I still have a ton of pics, all of them I ever took from the first day on including mods, etc and would be happy to chat about the 5speed swap. The key to it all in my mind was first and foremost, get a rig that does not have the electrical speedo output like the 93-Early '95's had.

I'm curious to see if Pappy has access to anything possibly in the database backups to pull the thread back out of retirement.

Yeah, don't you just love the idea of building up a rig, just to have someone smash a window and run off with the whole thing? That's why I'm leaning toward making The Mule look... unappealing, as if to broadcast to the potential thief that she's just parts, cheap parts they could never unload.

ROFL..Peer pressure? It never happened, it was all smoke and mirrors man. ;) :D

Right before I ended up installing wheel spacers to resolve an interference issue. I'll get a nice shot when the rain eases up a bit.

MMMM.... your truck embodies everything I believe in:
"More stick, less slushbox!"

33's, 1.25" All-Pro Alloy Spacers..it might be a little before I pull the trigger if at all on a 3.4 swap, I might go down to 32's if anyone can get them in stock (national/continental backorder for all of North America).
