hi, i live in colorado outside of colorado springs and am looking for an older fj40.
I have a 1966 Ford Mustang that really doesn't suit me here, it is sitting in my garage (2wd and 9500ft alt and snow just don't mix) so i am putting it up on the trading block.

If you are interested, email me at josh@godink.com.

the mustang is in really good shape, the interior is really nice, and the exterior is straight (paint could be better but it looks good)

it has a 289 2v, c4 automatic with console. it needs to be tuned up, came from south carolina, and needs tuneup. doesn't smoke or leak.

the front suspension has been replaced with independent front suspension from a mustang II kit, disc brakes all the way around.

power steering, power brakes, air conditioning.

tilt steering wheel.

15" wheels

overall, this is a great mustang, drives like a newer car with all the mods, and is a blast to drive, and an eyeturner.

I am looking for an fj40 in comparable condition and valuable.
has a clear sc title and is ready to go.

I have a nice FJ-40

What do you put the value at on your mustang? It's hard to tell based on the small pictures on craigslist.

i would think easily in the 7500-8000 range. i will upload some pics on my website that are bigger.

here is a link to some pics i just took, sorry the mustang is dirty, but where i live in florissant it is hard to keep any car clean, but these should give you a better idea.
the only other thing i noticed and this is new that the inside door panels are gonna need to be replaced, but those are cheap and easy to replace.

mOOdy dOOd dOt cOm

i can load bigger pics, but since it was evening the camera did a grainy job, but i'm happy to go out in the sun tomorrow and get more.

the mustang besides some little touches is in really great shape, and is a great car, just not where i live.

i've driven from south carolina to california and done route 66 which was awesome. it's dependable and a great driver, it just needs a better home and a tune up.
