Russ (or anyone else) interested? Saved it from being tossed at a garage sale we were having.

From what I'm seeing, a 425E was from 67-70.

Lots of surface rust, not sure that the tank is original, it's in way better condition than the body. Was holding pressure from the last person who pumped it up too, so seals are good. Haven't tested it yet, but all the parts look to be there and I bet it fires right up.

Also picking up a Coleman catalytic heater from Goodwill tomorrow. They're not supposed to take them, and was going to toss it out. Friend of the family knows the managers there, and got it set aside for me. That one I'm keeping (it'll make the wife happy!). :grinpimp:

Anything you know about this model?

I'll bring it to the club meeting for ya.

I have that model as well, could use the parts as mine is good, but doesnt seal.

Ty go for it. That's what I was going to use it for . I have a couple already.
425 is Colemans small suitcase stove. If you get one cleaned up, they're great, just not the high output like some of the other ones. You can tell by the size of the generator tube.
Good luck and if you've a mind for it, try Classic Camp Stoves , ICCC, Old Town Coleman or
some of the other stove forums. Lots of info there. And then there's me. :hmm:  :bang: :meh:

p.s. Ty, most likely your sealing problem is the filler cap. That's the most common culprit. A stop at Walmart can fix that.

All yours Ty. Like I said, tank looks newer, is in great shape. O ring on filler cap looks brand new. Pumps up very quickly.

If you want to stop by, you know where I live. Otherwise I'll just bring it to the meeting and toss it out there, let ya'll fight over it.

cool, thanks :)

Something about holding a solvent usually keeps the tanks looking newer than they are- probably the original. ;) Too bad that rule didn't hold true for all the years I was a "solvent tank". :crybaby:
