i have a set of 2 inch king's is that enough for a stock 40 front end?

What length???

The 6" travel kings might be a little on the meager side...

If they are long enough they will be fine.

if you only got 6 inches you just need to find a way to make it work.
cantalever set up would be awesome :flipoff2:

That is a major guessing game and the best weight setups you can give the guys at King the better.

Lots of folks to too heavy in my opinion on the springs and then don't get the full use of the front end.

What engine do you run?

Mace just went down on the spring weights on his and he has the straight 6. I ran 150/200 on my last rig with an aluminum head 350 and fiberglass hood.

I am currently at 175/350

But think 175/300 would be a better fit.

Course, I am going to raise the axle end mounts a bit so I need to lower my ride height to make up for it.

Too many variables to determine the spring rate. How you mount the coilover will make a huge difference on what spring rates you need.

Just plan on installing some springs and swapping them out after you install them.
