Had a code storm outbreak this week. One short drive yielded:
P0300 - multiple misfires
P0308 - Cyl 8 misfire
P1300 - Igniter circuit fault
P1315 - Igniter fail cyl 4
P1325 - Igniter fail cyl 6
P1330 - Igniter fail cyl 7
P0304 - misfire cyl 4
P0301 - misfire cyl 1
P0303 - misfire cyl 3
After a bit of head scratch testing, the single cause was a failed coil pack on cyl 4. Pulled that coil pack, and noticed that it had been replaced in March 2013 [I write the date on replaced parts - its a habit].
Check the log, and discover that this pack failed back then far from home. Managed to get a non-Denso coil pack from a local parts joint. Fixed the problem but failed after just 12 months!
Denso coils are $60 on Amazon. Don't waste your time and money on off-brand parts!
