Whoops! The party is December 10, 2016 and not 2916. I don't know how to correct the
thread title and may not even be around in 2916 at the age of 939 !! :bang:

Pacific Provider Salmon:
Owned and operated by a North Vancouver fishing family, the Pacific Provider is a 43-foot fishing boat that travels through the waters around the Queen Charlotte Islands in search of the best catch and using only the most sustainable fishing methods. Pacific Provider is Ocean Wise certified and trolls with barbless hooks and line designed specifically for Coho salmon, eliminating the risk of endangering other fish, birds and marine mammals and of damaging the ocean floor.

Our chefs are leading the revolution in “Farm to Table” restaurants in Richmond, capitalizing on ethically raised animals, sustainable seafood, and local produce from harvest to storage and processing to ensure freshness and quality. We are proud to use family owned suppliers of local products where ever and whenever possible. Click on this yellow link to see where
they source their fruit, vegetables, meat, and seafood.

The Pier 73 Restaurant is charging us $40./plate + tip for the December 10 Xmas party and dinner.
As usual we mingle for drinks up in the Sandbar mezzanine, then eat downstairs about 8:00 p.m., then
go back upstairs for the raffle and rest of the evening. Lovely Heidi will serve drinks if she's available.
The Coastal Cruiser treasury will subsidize members for half of their meal, + tip, so each
member will only pay $20. Their wives/partners will pay $40. The main raffle prize
is the fridge, I think ARB. There will also be some other prizes as well.
It is important that if you want to stay overnight in the hotel, the cost will be
$109. + tax. and you should not wait until the last minute to reserve a room
because room prices go up around Christmas. When you contact the hotel for room reservations,
tell them you are a Coastal Cruiser member at the Pier 73 banquet that evening and that you would
like the "Take the Elevator Room" rate of $109. The hotel is pacificgatewayhotel.com and if they
argue about the price of the room, tell them to contact Tim Lattimore, manager in Pier 73.

Hi Bill,

I'm going to have the turkey and my wife is going to get the steak.

Thanks.

Hi
Hope I'm not too late , I'll be there , would like the green salad , roast turkey ,cheesecake

Thanks Tim Hirata

The Christmas Party was great! We had 31 people there and it was good to
see LanceCruiser up from Tucson, Arizona with two lovely ladies in tow.
John G had a good time and is in better health these days.
Lovely Heidi was her sparkling self and took good care of our beverage needs.
Heidi has now graduated from her nursing program and this was probably her
last year working at Pier 73. Maybe she can come as a guest next year.
The grand raffle prize ARB fridge went to lucky Gary T, while Lisa S did walk off with
a pretty nice pneumatic tool set. I think it was Chris Loomin who won the solar
panel and Becky got the traction mat. Thanks to Rob S for his hard work this year
to make our club such a success.
Next Coastal Cruiser meeting January 12, see you there.

Thanks Bill! Yes, it was a great time again!

We have some extra dough thanks to all of your generosity with raffle ticket purchases, so look for an extra large size raffle for the January meeting. Good excuse to brave the cold!

Sounds like a good time. Sorry I missed it, but not too sorry I didn't make the drive considering how the snow was coming down in the eastern valley.
