Working purchase details on 40 in Stockton. The cruiser is currently at Valley Hybrids. Hoping to find a carrier to bring it out to the east coast that wont bust the budget. I've reached out to a couple big names: Montway and Nexus but they don't necessarily give me the warm n fuzzies. I've used Summit in the past but some recent reviews on here are mixed. Anyone have suggestions?

I had a good experience with Summit when I shipped my ‘79 from North California to South Georgia. When the first driver was getting a bit shady on time frame of the pick up, Aaron took care of the situation and found a new driver. Though more expensive than other brokers, he was a great communicator and it arrived safe and in good order.

I'd be interested to check out the mixed reviews if you can point me in that direction.
There's some mention of Summit here: Beware of Auto transport broker tactics - https://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/beware-of-auto-transport-broker-tactics.1348252/#post-15859894

Like I said, I used Summit to transport my 60. Communication was great. Final delivery ended up making me question my choice but everything seemed fine (driver, rig, trailer was just a bit sketchy).

Thanks for that. It can be challenging to get accurate information when someone is upset about an issue. I'm aware of the customer who experienced paint rubbing on their Cruiser and tried unsuccessfully to resolve it through the carrier. The main challenge was that the customer accepted the vehicle as being in "good condition," which made it nearly impossible to file a claim through the carrier's insurance. Many concerns about auto shipping are valid, but they can often be avoided by selecting a reputable company. I strongly advise against entering your information on websites found through a general "auto transport" search online, as it typically leads to multiple low-cost bids from up to 20 different companies.

Thanks for the reply. It's easy to get drowned out in reviews (for anything) both good and bad and the bad tend to stick.
