The truck is prep'd and loaded for the trip to CMCC. Mike Stevens lives about half an hour away from Rausch Creek, so I will get to see him and Cindy. There will probably be others that I have met at GSMTR too. I expect that it will be a long trip in a truck with no AC, so by next week I will be able to report how hot & how long.

Good for you Larry!!!

You will have a blast, the park is great & the amount of trails was overboard!!

If you see the Iron Pig guys kick them in the shin's & tell them it's from Clutchee:flipoff2:

Are those ties in the trailer Simex Centipede? I guess you got those with the 70? If not spill the beans on where you can get a set around TN.

Have fun! Nice 70

5 of the tires are TSL Swampers (34 x 9.5) for the truck.
The Spare tied to the top of the stack and the tires on the trailer are utility trucks tires that I bought at Knauffman tires in GA. I don't think they are anything special beyond function and price which lead to the purchase. If you want more details on them, I can post.

Brian,
You were absolutely right about the trails. There are so many and in quanties for all levels (even wimps like me). Great place and I will have to think about going back despite the 12 hours drive.

The Iron Pigs guys did not get a kick. If I had kicked Cam, it would probably greatly exceeded his tolerance for me. The short story was, I was hung up and Cam interupted his lunch to offer some suggestions on how to get free. I tried them but without success and that I try again harder. I said no and I would wait for a strap from the other trucks coming up the trail. My tone and/or response must not have been as friendly as it should have been because Cam looked offended when he walked back to his lunch.

Rock Creek

The following is a picture of a "red" trail at Rausch Creek named Rock Creek. There is nothing in the picture to give scale to the rocks, but I think a more accurate name would have been Boulder Creek. (plus a vanity image of the BJ working through a nice spot)

Good for you Larry...... glad to see you taking those more difficult trails;)

Don't worry about Cam........ :princess:

Really makes me want to go back there for their fall crawl......:hhmm:
IF a new job occurs I might have built that week into the sign on package..... well see:meh:

Still got your pimp limp or has that been resolved:flipoff2:

Brian,
The "pimp limp" is a new classic for describing my ability (inability) to move last year. The short answer is I am doing great. I am on no medication; just a lot of physical therapy (YMCA every weekday at 4:30AM and 20+ mile bike rides on the weekend). The drive to PA and back was real tough because the muscles stiffen up and get very painful when limited to a set position for a long period, but I don't do this frequently and the trip was worth it.
Thanks for asking. Maybe I will still be doing well the next time you see me and you can attempt to replicate the pimp limp for some good humor.
