November 21st, 9-3. last year, we only had 400 vehicles and had the second largest donation of toys in colorado...this year, we want 1000 vehicles and we want to the be the biggest. help the colorado association and the marines make christmas happy for all children. bring an unwrapped toy and meet at one of the caravan locations - north metro area meets at westminster mall, west metro at colorado mills, and southeast at home depot on arapahoe east of I25. fort collins wheelers will meet in fort collins somewhere (check colorado4x4.org for up to date details), caravan to loveland to meet up with them, then caravan to longmont to meet up with that group before rolling in.
last year, we filled two hummers and three 7 tons and messed up traffic in aurora...let's try to do better this year!
be at the caravan meeting point at 8 am so the caravans can leave by 8:30. final location is the buckingham square mall. channel 9 (nbc) news has already agreed to cover the event, so we don't need to have everyone with cell phones calling them asking what the deal is with all the 4x4s this year :^) . raffle prizes include a winch donated by ori, sythentic winch rope, parts from crane high clearance and more. the coa4wdci raffle heep will be raffled off that day as well. will have rti ramps and a teeter totter, food and drinks, and vendor alley.
