I have been putting together a CO2 tank for the 40 over the last couple of days. I found that MagicMtnDan DYI thread was a ton of good info and was nice to have links to the venders. The one thing I have found out and thought I would pass along is that he regulator from Outback Air is now 10.00 higher and freight is $15. I found a welding supply house that has the same regulator they use and you can get different PSI setting for 40 plus shipping. It cost me 49.00 to my door. The vendor is www.weldingsupply.com (RP320100). I am just using a 10# tank from the welding shop so I can just swap out when needed and not worry about hydro date and finding a place to fill. Hope this can help somebody down the road.

I have the regulator now and the tank all mounted up. I thought I would post some pics of the set up. I aired down the tires in the shop and aired back up to 25psi where I run them, dam is it nice no more waiting on the little air pumps

Just use a clamp on chuck on the hose and you have no worry about 'exploding it" so long as you put it on the tire valve before you open the tank. been doing this for years. If you are just using the CO2 for airing tires and reseating beads rather than running air tools, it works better with no regulator.

I used the 100 pd spring but if I had to do it over again I would use a 125 or 150.
