I have a 200 series CV axle (from front driver side) from my 2010 LC with 135k miles on it. Would make a great inexpensive spare, but needs a new boot.
When installing my lift, I extended the axle down too far and the joint bound up. After messing with it for a while, I cut the boot to see what had happened inside. It all looked normal, but I ordered a new axle anyway because I couldn't get it unbound by hand. When removing this axle, it popped back into place when I turned the hub with a wrench. Good as new, but the boot was now cut so I went ahead and replaced it.
Long story short, a good spare axle, but will need the boot/rebuild kit available from the dealer.
