Another Coal Mine Cruiser Classic has passed into history. This is our 12th year for this event and it seems to get better each time. The weather cooperated, but it could have been a bit cooler for me. We were a tad short on numbers this year as compared to the usual turnout, but everyone had a great time. The wheeling was awesome, the food was great, the people were fantastic, and the raffle was outstanding.
We got an unprecedented amount of vendor support this year, so a special thank you has to go out to the CMCC support staff for making that happen.
We received a lot of complements this year, both from the vendors who wheeled with us and the general participants. The event was called “the best kept secret in the East” by one of our vendors that has been to almost every event in the CONUS.
Twin Grove is an outstanding campground. Probably the nicest and cleanest KOA on the east coast. The staff is super friendly and accommodates our event without question. We made sure to keep everyone well fed and happy by providing the 3 meals and I really think folks appreciated that.
Bottom line, it was a great time and I thank all who attended and made this happen. If you missed it for whatever reason you really need to put it on your calendar for next year.
