No Idea, I priced one @ toyota and they're no longer available. Of course that's not much help to you. Don't you have a parts truck??

Think my left leg might figure out its just marketing.

No parts truck - yet. The one in the garage is to be registered and then I will sell one of them. I just recently found a wrecked Safari in Alberta. I'm going to give the owner a call. But I got the feeling from the tone of his ad that he will want more for it than the value of a wreck and he doesn't sound like he wants to or is able to part it out. If some one had a lot of time, talent and money, it could be made into a nice tray back. I seem to be lacking all of those attributes at the present. Although... my neighbour just gave me a mig welder - a Hobart Handler 150. :hhmm:

Doesn't calculate well. :whoops: Better I just ask them about some spares I want.

Why not remove the booster from the garaged truck to make the daily driver serviceable? Then when you do find a replacement you can switch them back.

DV Aldous is in my work hood, on Fraser and around 20th? At one time they were the only place I could get the parking brake drum turned on my 40. Very discreet building, I don't think there name is even on the building.

It's there, but in small letters. It kind of looks abandoned from the front. It's on fraser street IIRC. They relined my clutch friction disc, turned the flywheel and press. plate, and threw in a new throwout brg. for $300. Nice work.

That's cheap compared to just a new clutch for my rig.

Strange, with the cooler weather, the sick duck noise from the booster has disappeared and it is providing some boost again.

Clutch Booster Supplier

Did anyone locate a shop that could rebuild clutch boosters?

I contacted a factory in China that sells rebuilt cutch boosters to fit the 74. When I first contacted them they wanted a minimum order of 300 now they said they will ship one (1) for about $91 US + taxes duty See picture of it from post from Boogie74. He is located in Oz and got it cheaper.

Clutch booster! I remember the good old days when real men didn't need help pushing the clutch in. When I do the 5 speed conversion, that will be one item I'll be glad to get rid of.

The non-boosted MC is pretty cheap (69.95 AUS plus shipping) from Roodogs and may be the best way to go. I know the MC I have will need a seal because it is weeping brake fluid.
