CLUNK

I own a 2007 LC. Awesome truck but it has a clunk in the front end. Toyota has looked at it. My mechanic has looked at it. No idea. It happens in turns. It happens breaking. It happens going over bumps. It's driving me nuts. There is no safety issue but it certainly isn't going away. Any thoughts?

worn/split/missing bushing somewhere? (shocks and swaybar more likely)
Since you don't know what's causing the clunk, how can you assess that there is no safety issue?

Grab the bottom of the shock and see if you can make it moves back and forth recreating the clunk. Chased the same thing for a while on mine and thats what it ended up being.

I guess you have a good point on the safety issue. That was the info passed on to me by my mechanic of 20 years and the local Toyota service manager. I stand corrected.
