We had 5 member rigs out today plus a guest Pajero. It was an all wagon run with a BJ60, FJ62, HJ60, HDJ81 and a FZJ80 showing up.
We tried a new entrance that was a bit tight; my front bumper sits closer to the body than it used to and Jason's front passenger door got a pretty new indendation. We came across groups on quads and bikes and even some horses, but only a few other rigs. Wheel'n was good until we came to a cross'n that we've done before but recent weather had shifted things around a bit. The Poo wagon made it with only a little drama, and Jason went next. He got hung up in the rocks and the hi-lift came out for stacking rocks under the wheels. He came down hard on a rock and broke his rear drive shaft. Morgan hooked up for a tug, but the 60 wasn't coming out easy, so the two 80s formed a train to finish the job. We were a bit too enthusiastic and dragged the 60 into a tree, breaking a tail light lens.
Jason pulled the remaining drive shaft parts and we all headed home together. Running unlocked with only the front wheels driving put Jason on the end of a tow line a few more times before we got out; we made it before it got dark.
Had a fun time; sorry 'bout the damage Jason - hope you'll be trail ready again soon.
