Hmmm, well I vote for Jason as trail leader :Dand something a bit twisty but im not looking for any damage either, what about skutz falls? I went there for the first time with Jason and had a good time, I think any snow and higher water flow might make it a bit tougher...... :grinpimp:

what about reb ballz? isnt that in the sook area?

I'm pretty sure that is in skutz falls area (the trail that Noel is talking about). It could be pretty hairy in the snow, as the first part of the trail is quite narrow and on the side of a hill. I've been up and down that trail several times, it is good but short.

I will be attending a work party so I won't be on the trail. maybe Sweet pea will be trail leader

Trail run

Trail run meeting at tim hortons millstream at 9:00 on sunday the 18th. Leave at 9:30. Run shall be at shawnigan lake unless anybody has any other ideas.

I have a few ideas but none of them are about a trail run.

See you there.

I'd like to avoid snow. It's cold.

yea...im not really down with playing in the snow, iv had a few mishaps in the white stuff....one or 2 has kinda kept me out of it. stuff can get too bad too fast for my liking...

Throw some gloves and a touque in your purse then...

 i just aint a fan of walken it outta the bush balls deep in snow....thats all. i might be there...dunno for sure yet, supposed to be doin hw.....:bang:

Is the snow still really deep up there in Shawnigan? Doesn't sound like anyone wants a snow run (including me). Jason says we can get to Jordan river however there may be a lot of snow up there too, sooke is mostly closed up (unless only "high clearance" trucks show up ie: 35" + tires). Is Bamberton full of snow?

Not sure about Bamberton, but we were just up in Mill Springs, and there is a fair bit of snow there. We haven't had a chance to go out , so not sure what snow will be like, but we still have some on the ground and it's not going away fast, so up in the hills probably will be more.

i talked to guy tonight and depending on who's going we can go to jordan river. there will be snow any direction we go except sooke maybe anderson/muir if we can find a way in. meet at tim hortons millstream at 9:00 and figure it out leave at 9:30 at latest.

see you guys in the mornin!:bounce:
