If the front end of the Cruiser gets more support I beg you all please to delete that bumper off of it and bring it back to stock.

Anyway, it's a tad bit ironic that your the one saying this, given how stock your 80 is.

Seriously though, considering how many people in thia group are not stock, I'm not sure why that'd be an issue.

Heck, when I get home I'm going to steal treeroot's (I think that who it was) picture of his 80's front end with the slee short bus bumper on it and see if it looks halfway decent in a similar style. The slee shortbus I had never really been interested in because to me it didn't look any better than the ARB......by Treeroot caught it just right and now I'm totally sold on that it's a work of art. It really is beautifully done.

So why not show off some of the cool thinks people do? Like I said we don't HAVE to have just one. Think about how many different stickers Dutch Bro's has....do you think that's hurting them any?

I personally REALLY like that front end shot. Nothing against Kief's drawing (he is a fantastic artist and I envy his mad skillz) but the shot of the 40 coming down the mountain just feels too "generic" to me as I've seen several other similar logos. If I hadn't seen those, but saw lots of the close up front end shots my likes/dislikes would probably be reversed.

What can I say? I just like to be unique.

We should probably have "THE" official club seal for all the paperwork/website/flags or banners. Making more than one sticker probably won't be a problem. But for starters a single batch of stickers would be cheaper than smaller multiple batches.

Garett we may need another vote on that subject too, LoL.

Just a thought, putting "toyota" is pushing registration mark issues (I don't know if it being on the grill counts) and utilizing someone's copyrighted image is pushing it as well.. I'm not a lawyer but I have heard of clubs having to change names and other stuff after not doing their homework.

One seal X2, Always lots of opportunities to make other stickers and T's..

Another thought, when we figure this all out we might consider copyrighting our image/seal and maybe even our name (?).

#1 Using someone else's photo for our logo=bad juju
#2 The 40 bumper is awful, maybe if it was still the 80's...
#3 We need to pick ONE seal so we can get some friggin' stickers made. This does not have to be THE seal, or if it is, I don't care if we change the seal later, but we're not making 5 different stickers to please everyone 100%. That's why we're voting on this stuff...

Using someone else's photo isn't bad, people do it all the time. Besides, the close up of the 40's front end is totally legal as a "derivitive work". Basically it's been changed enough that it no longer is the original. It'd be much the same if Kief did a drawing of the TLCA logo....it's similar, but not the same.
