The biggest concern i have had it how do they look small because they will be printed over and over and over real small and in black-n-white....

I like #1 the best. I think it is the strongest, cleanest, most visually effective.

My only (constructive) criticism is that the truck could be cleaned up more.

Although I really do like the seal/stamp effect the original one has, that new one is a little more readable when small. I think I'll have to hold off til a poll to pick which one I like best.

Is Bigger Better?

LOGO #6:

Bigger LC, for better visibility when small.

Slightly stretched LC because it looked cool.

Pencil scratching on LC thick'ened up to hopefully look cleaner. It should have more of an appearance of being made by a thick pen rather than a thin pencil.

What do you all think? More work on LC needed?

I like the first one better. I think it's distracting having the truck behind the letters. Unless maybe the words were stretched more, but that might look funny.

I think the truck could be simplified down to black and white (or black and color) , with no shading. Here's the TLCA logo for an example...

Anyway, great work. How'd you end up in here designing the Alabama logo if you're from OR ?

I gotta be honest, there's something just not completely right about this new one. Prolly has to do with it being rectangular and now with a stretched/distorted LC?

I still vote for the original round seal logo. It just looks pro.

What if ya take this, realign the words to match the arc, enlarge the truck, and replace the alabama state with the outline of the X?

That would look good in black and white, big and small.
