Clemson U. - directions & parking help needed

Guys

I need to be at the Manhattan Construction trailer on the West End Zone project tomorrow afternoon at 3:00

a couple Q's

1 - Im coming from Columbia - just wondering if I should take I85 all the way down to 76 - or come across 123 from Easley to Clemson

Ive ridden both ways, but Im not sure which is better (also keep in mind it will be Monday at ~2ish when Im going to be driving thru)

what would you do?

2 - Im not sure if I can park next to the construction trailer or not. If Im on my own, where would be a good place to park for 3-4 hours and not get a ticket or towed?

3- how much is 87 octane up in your neck of the woods? (trying to decide if I can afford to drive my 80 or suffer in my wifes minivan)

ok gas in clemson at walmart is 2.02 with a gift card, 2.12 every where else pretty much. You should be able to park near the trailer, got all kinds of construction area out there. But I believe you can go to tillman hall and get a visitors pass to park for a few hours. Come down 123, a lot faster, cuts 40 minutes out of the drive.

I drive that trip more then anyone in this club, take 385 to 185 and 185 dumps you onto 153 which brings you to 123. Fastest way by far.
