I GOTTA SELL IT THIS MONTH!
This lives in Bend Oregon

This cruiser has spent it's whole life without rust!

goodwrench 350 that I bought new from Carr Chevrolet in Portland, with edelbrock carb, and performer intake, rams-horn manifolds, K&N filter, Ranger II Torque Splitter adapter, this serves as 27% overdrive for lower highway RPM, in addition to connecting the gm to toyota transmission, stock toy 4 speed.

Just over 1.5 years ago I converted this to run on propane or gas, it is a tru dual fuel rig, the stock 24 gallon toyota tank is still there , but I've added a sleegers DOT approved 26 gallon lpg tank just underneath, still has lots of wheelin clearance. the propane is 70% cleaner to run than gasoline, and almost 50% cheaper! runs like a top!

This is a super clean rig with newly upholstered seats in the front.

sittin on 33 x 12,5 x 15 txr's, and has a set of studded 32 x 10 x 15 on back american racing rims, for winter,

OME medium lift with shocks, greasable shackles, nitrocharger shocks, swaybar extensions, brake line extensions,

dual batteries, new radiator, I only run synthetic oil

just had the front seats re-uphostered,

clarion head with 4 blaupunkt speakers, ipod compatable, dyno-mat in all 4 doors,

265 k miles on chassis

High lift jack,

con-fer rack

yakima racks

I have kept records of this vehicle since I took possesion of it six years ago, I have kept it well maintained, Dare to be different, own a "GREEN" 4x4!

Is there a "fuel" meter that tells you how much propane you have in the tank or you just keep track of how far you've driven on propane and figure out how much more you have left.

I don't know about an emmisions waiver, this hasn't been registered with the dmv as an alternative fuel, if you want the tax credit, its yours!
about the fuel gauge, I originally wanted to hook up a sending unit to the stock gauge so it would switch tanks kinda like when you have two tanks, but my lpg supplier guru guy told me that he couldn't source one for a LC, so I just go by the odo , I really only run lpg anyway, plenty of power, and so much cheaper!

OK, I'll speak up since you've asked.;)

I think the biggest hurdle is the price.
For a rustless/spotless 60 in original condition it might fetch $5-7k (on Mud) these days. (YMMV).

Some people might take the propane conversion/addition as a plus, but the purist might not see it the same way. Same with the engine swap.

Also the description at the top states "without rust", yet there's a pic that shows some rust (Nice of you to have posted it, btw.) So some might wonder "Could there be more?"

ANYWAY, I've been looking for a 60 for a little while and yours does look clean and the propane/dual-fuel thingy does appeal to me as I'm planning on living in the state that has the lowest propane price in the US.

I'm not sure about the engine conversion, although I'm sure it's more powerful than the 3F.

ANYWAY, those are just my observation/thoughts and others' obviouslly will vary.

Good luck with the sale!

Mot:cheers:

I saw that truck from afar this past weekend. I was in Bend, riding the "river express" bus that shuttles you and your inner tube up the river that runs through town. Probably the only thing to do when it's 100F out!

What kind of mileage do you get city/hwy on gas & lpg?

The mileage is what factors into everything these days.

As a result, my cruiser has been taking long naps in the driveway lately...

That is the only rust spot, it is located at the top of the firewall under the hood. The pic of the corner is where it has a little body work under there.

OFFERS?

If this is still for sale in a month I'll be REALLY interested. Like Mot I'm also in the state with the cheapest propane, and my cruiser sits since it drinks money like water (although it's really difficult to buy propane around here because there's not enough pressure in the system for all the new users so often people go to buy propane and there's not enough pressure to pump it). Is this the original transmission? Any troubles there?

How much power do you have? Can it easily pull a small camper into the mountains with the v8?

original tranny 4 speed, has the ranger t.s. mounted in fron to give a 27%overdrive and mate to the gm v8, plenty of power, and if you're really weighted down and need a little more hp,just turn on the gasoline! no trouble with the tranny, I put new seals on it just last year
