Gentlemen - I am sorry for not posting this sooner. We did talk about doing a social at the last meeting. I've arranged for a social event at BJ's Brew Pub at University Village (near COSTCO and Trader Joes on Nevada) but the only night they can do it is Wednesday the 21st. I've asked if they can accommodate up to 40 people and they say they can but we will need to get RSVPs to them this week so that they have a final number.
I would like it if:
1. We could agree to shift the social from the normal meeting time/location on Tuesday to Wednesday
2. Folks would RSVP by this Friday at the latest so I can get a good number to pass along to BJs
3. If we could locate the CLC banner so we can display it in the parking lot
4. Folks would go out and invite either a new member or someone who may not participate as much any more to bring along.
Thoughts? If I don't hear anything by Friday I will cancel the reservation at BJ's and we can revert back to the standard meeting time/location. No costs were incurred with this planning so no harm no foul.

Kyle, I think there is still a question of having the meeting on Wednseday at BJ's. If we go that route, will you make it?
I can make either the regular meeting or a meeting at BJ's on Wednesday.
A couple of thoughts:
RSVP's- have been tough to get in the past. Many times, people don't know if they will make it till the last minute (or cancel at the last minute), so getting a count will be tough. Rudy's or other places where big tables are almost always available may be easier for this type of meeting.
Banner- I'm doubtful that a restaurant will want us to display it in the parking lot, and I'm not sure a bunch of us having dinner and drinks (you know it will happen) is good PR for the club. I think the banner is better for weekend events, car shows, trail cleanup, or public service events like the Christmas tree volunteer weekends.
Social- I like the idea of having some less formal meetings like this and just catching up/getting to know each other better.

Well we had 4 show up last night...Kyle, Ryan, Tracy and Malcolm. Dinner was good and not much business was talked about. We did check out Malcolm's sweet 55 and I think we all drooled a bit. Then we good a listen to Tracy's 80 see if we could figure out what was going on. Thats about it...
