October Monthly Meeting 10/14/25

Please come to the club meeting at Rudy's Bar-B-Q, 315 S 31st St, Colorado Springs, CO 80904
Show up at 6:00 to eat dinner and socialize. We meet in the North West corner of the patio.
Meeting starts at 7:00. Buying food or drink is not required, just show up to socialize if you wish.

OFFICERS' REPORTS

• VP:
  • Forest Service meeting will be at Cheyenne Mountain Library on Oct 30. More details will be posted.
  • Include start/stop or elapsed time details in trail ride recaps going forward. This will aid in tracking volunteer hours for 2026.
• Treasurer:
  • Finance report
  • $50 donation to CO4WDA not made - unable to reach them
  • Contact Josh N. re: old website

OLD BUSINESS

• No one attended Sept. trail ride
• San Juans recap
• @LCPilot or @SAS to send officers Word version of bylaws so updates can be made/proposed
• A hat will be passed for club funding donations at the Christmas Party. This is to help offset our recent donations to Core and BRC.
• 2026 Trail ride planning - no progress

NEW BUSINESS

• Changed date for Oct trail ride from Sun to Sat by unanimous vote
• Tree cutting patrols should begin weekend after Thanksgiving (@LCPilot to confirm)
• Christmas Party:
  • @wonderlc will host again and provide main course
  • Members to bring salad/side/dessert courses
  • Tentatively Dec. 9
  • @LCPilot will post a dedicated thread for planning
• COHVCO will host a trail/road-building workshop Nov. 15-16 - @SAS to post dedicated thread
