FYI: A few of us like to meetup before the meeting for an adult beverage and some BBQ at Rocky Mountain Brewery around 6:00 if anyone's interested in joining us.

i can't make the meeting but here are some suggestions for discussion.

1. At this point I would just say wait until January for elections. Unless you want to do it at the Christmas party?
2. Christmas party planning
3. Christmas tree cutting patrol is coming up
4. Consider changing meet location to somewhere along i-25 corridor, for easier/quicker access. May increase attendance by some. Back to Toyota in Motor City? We could always go back to Redline for a tech night, if we wanted to.

I won't be able to make the meeting this month...working that evening.

As for meeting location...as long as its not up off Woodmen Rd at the Toyota dealership there, that was a bit far for me. Off I-25 was ok, and its not much different heading to Redline. Personally I don't mind Redline.

A little meeting recap:

In attendance:

We voted to approve the following:

• Get new club business/promotion cards w/correct web address, up to $40
• Hold informal quarterly meetings in addition to regular club meetings, these may be a different night of the week for dinner, lunch, meet at the park and BBQ, etc. The idea is to create more opportunities for those who can't do Tuesday, or who don't like the current location.
• Christmas party to be held at Rudy's. $50 funding for door prizes, to be purchased by Ryan. Andrew will call ahead and warn Rudy's that the club will be there.

Talked about:

• Meeting time/place: Those of us at the meeting thought that staying at Red Line is best. It seems that, historically, we have not been able to locate any meeting place that makes everyone happy. Also, I think that we agreed that switching meeting locations frequently was a bad idea and that it is important to have meetings in the same place and at the same time each month.
  
• Christmas tree event patrol: Dec. 5th, 6th, 12th, and 13th. Leon will make contact with forest service and post up details (Leon, get in touch with me please, if this is not the case).
• Tracey: Please send me the updated bylaws so that I can place them in the club binder. PM sent with my email address.
  
• Trail run recaps: Red cone (Oct), Frosty Park&Eagle Rock (scheduled for last weekend, but did not happen)

At the meeting we had voted for new business cards, and I think I have a good first draft:

Constructive criticism is welcome before I place the order. I am happy to edit this, if needed. I have removed the name/phone number blanks with the idea that it makes more sense if we are able to leave these cards for customers at Redline or Toyota dealers.

Leon pointed out that our forum web address is very long. There is no easy way around this, but here is one option. Since most people have smart phones, I think that this may be a good way to go. The qr code is simply a link to the mud forum.
